How does accepting work?
Every debt and every payment needs the other person to accept it. Until then it shows as "Pending" and doesn't change what either of you owes.
What does "View only" mean?
You can see everything in the debt, but nobody can change it. A debt becomes view only when it is closed, when you are no longer friends, or when the other account was deleted. Become friends again and you can edit it again.
What happens if an installment isn't paid in full?
If part of an installment is paid, the rest moves to the next installment. If nothing is paid, all of it moves to the next one. If you pay more than an installment, the extra lowers the next one.
How do I delete a debt?
Open the debt, tap ⋯ and choose Delete. The other person has to accept. A deleted debt isn't erased: both of you can still see it, view only. A debt nobody has accepted yet can simply be cancelled.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Me → Delete account, or visit qarzee.com/account/delete. Your personal details are removed. Shared debts stay for the other person, shown as "Deleted account".
Why is recording what I owe always free?
So everyone can keep an honest record of what they owe. Recording a debt you owe is always free and has no limit.
